Qatalog is a Series A productivity and collaboration startup offering AI-powered, advanced file search, and business intelligence for enterprise organizations

Scope

I joined Qatalog as their employee n. 10 and founding marketer. I worked directly with the CEO and early PDE team to set up the foundations of the Go-To-Market operation. Since the early days, I've been involved in deep customer research and development together with the design team, crafting compelling value propositions, messaging, and differentiation frameworks. With this foundational work, I've managed to produce a series of foundational landing pages, publish 10+ foundational blog articles for content & SEO, as well as set up the 0 to 1 of performance marketing, and product marketing profiling on G2 and Capterra. I've also coordinated the first Product Hunt launch coming out of stealth. As the team grew to 50+ in 2020, I helped hire the marketing organization and handed over my responsibilities to channel specialists, such as an SEO Lead, Performance Marketing Lead, and Product Marketing Lead. Reporting to a newly hired CMO, I've then transitioned into a cross-functional Growth Lead role, where I worked with a growth engineer and designer to drive experimentation across acquisition, activation, and retention.

Among the main achievements of my memories at Qatalog is our first Product Hunt launch, which delivered 5,000+ signups in the first week, as well as earned us the #1 Product of the Day. Some of our growth experiments on the activation flow grew signups 10x, and retention by almost 2x, significantly impacting overall adoption and influencing our core product roadmap with meaningful learnings.
